Bird IPTV works with any M3U or Xtream Codes player. Here is what "Bird Player activation" actually means, which app to choose for your device, and what to do when activation fails.
There is nothing extra to buy from us. Open your IPTV player, choose Login with Xtream Codes API, and enter the username, password and server URL from your activation email. That is what activating Bird Player means. Channels, EPG and the movie library load automatically within a minute or two.

Install an IPTV player from the TV's own store. Many ask you to register the TV's device key on the developer's site first. Smart TV guide →
Install from the Play Store where available, otherwise side-load the same APK. Android boxes usually give the smoothest 4K playback.
Portal-based and registered by MAC address. Send us the MAC from the sticker or the About screen and we will authorise it.
Any M3U-capable player in the App Store or Play Store. Look for Xtream Codes login, EPG and favourites — those three cover almost everything.

Bird Player is the general name for the IPTV player app you use to watch your Bird IPTV line. Rather than forcing one proprietary application on you, we issue standard M3U and Xtream Codes credentials that work in any capable player — so you can pick the best app for your hardware, and your subscription is never stranded if a particular app disappears from a store.
Activation means entering your credentials, not buying a separate licence from us. Open your player, choose Add user or Login with Xtream Codes API, then type the username, password and server URL from your activation email. Save, and the channel list downloads. Some third-party player apps charge their own small one-off fee — that goes to the app developer, not to us.
Several smart-TV and set-top players register the device before they will load a playlist. Samsung and LG apps often ask you to enter a device key on the developer's own website; MAG and Formuler boxes are registered by MAC address, which you send to us. Message support with the code and we will handle our side.
Your Bird IPTV subscription includes everything from us. Whether the player app itself is free depends on which one you install — plenty of good ones are completely free, some charge a one-off licence to the developer. You never need to pay us twice.
Retype the credentials by hand instead of pasting, check the server URL including its port number, make sure your line has not expired, and close any other device that might already be streaming. If all four check out, message support with your username — never your password.
