Bird IPTV — frequently asked questions

Everything customers ask before and after ordering. If your question is not covered, WhatsApp is the fastest way to reach a person.

What is Bird IPTV?

Bird IPTV is a subscription streaming service that delivers 22,000+ live television channels and a 120,000-title on-demand library over your ordinary internet connection. There is no dish, no cable engineer and no equipment to rent. You buy a line, your credentials arrive by email, and you sign in on the devices you already own.

Is Bird IPTV the same as Freebird IPTV?

Yes — Freebird IPTV is the name a lot of customers use for us, and both spellings lead here. There is one service, one channel list and one support team behind Bird IPTV, BirdIPTV and Freebird IPTV. The "free" part usually refers to our free trial, which lets you test everything before paying.

How fast is activation?

Most lines go live within 5 to 25 minutes of payment. You will get an email with your username, password and server URL plus a setup guide for the device you chose at checkout. If nothing has arrived after 30 minutes, message us on WhatsApp and we will chase it in real time.

Which devices does Bird IPTV work on?

Anything that plays an M3U or Xtream Codes playlist: Firestick and Fire TV, Android TV, Samsung and LG smart TVs, iPhone and iPad, Android phones and tablets, Windows, macOS, MAG and Formuler boxes, NVIDIA Shield, Apple TV and Enigma2 receivers. Our installation guides cover each one.

How much internet speed do I need?

About 15 Mbps per HD stream, 25 Mbps for FHD and 35 Mbps for 4K. Consistency matters more than the headline number — a steady 30 Mbps beats an unstable 300 Mbps every time. Use Ethernet on the main television if you can.

Can I watch on several devices at once?

Yes. Every plan includes one device as standard and scales up to five simultaneous streams. Each one runs independently, so different people can watch different channels. The pricing page lists every combination.

Is there a contract?

No contract and no automatic renewal. You pay once for the term you picked; when it ends, the line simply stops until you choose to extend. No card is stored and nothing recurs.

What if a channel goes down?

Tell us and we fix it, usually the same day. Channels change source from time to time and our engineers re-point them. Support is live 24/7 on WhatsApp, chat and email, and you can request channels we do not currently carry.

Is Bird IPTV legal?

Bird IPTV operates as a streaming-service provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of any broadcaster, sports league or channel owner, and we make no claim to hold distribution rights for them. Broadcasting law varies between countries, and it is the subscriber's responsibility to understand what applies where they live. Check your local rules if you are unsure.

Why is my stream buffering?

In order of frequency: Wi-Fi (especially 2.4 GHz to a TV across the house), underpowered streaming hardware, an ISP throttling streaming ports, and only then the server. Wire the main television, clear the player's cache and re-test. If buffering happens only at peak time across many channels, tell support — we can move your line to a different edge.

Do I need a VPN?

Usually not. Our servers are reachable on standard ports from most consumer connections. A minority of ISPs throttle streaming traffic, and there a VPN restores full speed. If a fast connection still buffers steadily, that is the first thing to test.

Can I use Bird IPTV while travelling?

Yes — your line is not tied to a location and works from any internet connection. Some hotel and public networks block streaming ports, in which case a VPN gets you through. Take the credentials, not the hardware.

What is the EPG and how far ahead does it go?

The electronic programme guide is the on-screen schedule. Ours runs seven days ahead on channels that publish that far, and it powers catch-up — pick a programme that already aired and it plays from the archive.

Which payment methods do you accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal and major cryptocurrencies. Checkout runs on our secure store over an encrypted connection; card details never reach this website.

Will you sell my data?

No. We collect the minimum needed to issue and support your line — an email address, your device type and your order record — and we do not sell it to anyone. Full detail is in our privacy policy.

Do you offer reseller accounts?

Yes — a credit-based panel with wholesale pricing. See the reseller page.

What if I need help in the middle of the night?

Support runs 24 hours. WhatsApp is fastest and usually replies within minutes at any hour; live chat and email are monitored around the clock as well.
